Where we are on enquiries

We would rather tell you this plainly on the page than let you write to an address that goes nowhere. Nothing addressed to a number or address you may have seen on an earlier version of this page will reach us, and nothing will be answered.

We are not taking enquiries. We have no enquiry form, telephone number or email address in service, and nothing you send can reach us at present.

What that means in practice

Because nothing can be submitted to us, we collect nothing, store nothing and pass nothing on. We are not reviewing enquiries, we are not passing anyone's details to anyone, and reading these pages creates no relationship between us.

If you have been affected by a lithium battery fire and need help now, contact your local fire and rescue service, your insurer, or an adviser of your own choosing. We cannot advise you at this stage and we cannot put you in touch with anyone.

When we open a route

When we open an enquiry or media route, we will publish it on this page, together with a plain statement of what we do with the information you give us, how long we keep it, and who, if anyone, we share it with. We will update our privacy policy and regulatory status pages at the same time.

Citing our data

Our statistics tracker is published so that journalists, researchers and policymakers can cite it, and the suggested citation is set out on that page. We have no media route open yet either, so please cite the page and its named original sources directly.
